The Fishermans Museum is a journey through time that lets you discover the history of fishing as the main activity in the town of Paso de la Patria, how the “National Dorado Festival” began, the species living in the Paraná River waters, and much more.

The Fisherman Museum is a trip back in time. It shows the history of fishing, the main activity of Paso de la Patria. You can learn about the National Dorado Festival, the fish species in the Paraná River, and more.

The museum is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 13:00 and 17:00 to 23:00. On weekends, it is open from 8:00 to 13:00 and 18:00 to 23:00.

Entry is free.

The museum is located at the former bus terminal, at 8 de Diciembre and Catamarca streets.

It holds documents, old fishing tools, pictures, and many things used for fishing in the past.

The museum is run by the Natural Resources and Sport Fishing Office of Paso de la Patria.
